This page refers to our public courses. Work within organisations will be subject to a slightly different contract. We try to keep this essential information as simple as possible. Please have a read through it before booking, to ensure you are happy with everything you are agreeing too!
Bookstore purchases
Items bought from our bookstore are purchased via Amazon.co.uk, and are subject to Amazon terms and conditions.
CDs
Hypnosis CDs purchased via the Charis NLP online shop can only be refunded if faulty. Please contact us as soon as possible so we can arrange for the items to be returned.
All courses and workshops costing less than £500
Full payment is due when booking, and no refunds offered, except if we need to cancel a course, in which case we will refund your fees in full. Our liability will only extend to the training fee paid.

Deposits
A deposit is payable on each course booked. See here for details. The deposit secures your place, and is non-refundable. When we receive your deposit, you will be sent the course manual and text book.
Payment
We must have received payment in full as cleared funds prior to the commencement of the training. Failure to do us will result in you being denied access to the training course booked.
Cancellation
If for any reason you have to cancel an agreed booking, you must notify us in writing as soon as possible. Although your deposit is non-refundable, if it is feasible, we will be willing to transfer your booking to another course, as an alternative to cancellation. We may at our discretion impose a 5% admin fee for transfers. After the course has started, no refund will be offered in the event of non-attendance or non-completion.
We reserve the right to change the advertised trainer for any course, and to make minor changes to advertised venues. In the very unlikely event of us having to cancel a course, we will offer you a transfer to another course at no cost, or if you prefer, a refund of any fees already paid, including your deposit. We are not responsible for any other costs you may incur, such as accommodation or travel.
Your responsibilities
You will will be asked to sign a form confirming that you are psychologically and physically fit to participate in the training, that you do so of your own free will, and that Charis NLP and NLP and Coaching Scotland, their agents, employees, associates, and other course participants shall have no liability for any portion of the training in which you voluntarily participate.
You will be asked to sign a form confirming that you are willing to abide by the standards and code of ethics of the accrediting bodies.
If you violate these ethics, continually fail to respond to feedback, or grossly disrupt the training, then we reserve the right to ask you to leave the training. In this case, no refunds will be offered.
Please note that your fee is for training, and does not guarantee certification. However, we are committed to helping you achieve your goals, and will do everything we can to support you, including inviting you for reassessment at no further charge.

Complaints
We do everything we can to provide you with a quality service. If you have any cause for complaint, please speak to your trainer in the first instance. Most things can be solved through discussion. If you are not happy with the response, then please do write to us at our office address, so that the matter can be investigated. We will acknowledge any such written complaint within 7 days.
Privacy Policy
Please note we do not store financial information about you. Credit and debit card information is immediately entered into a secure credit card terminal, and thereafter we have no access to it.
